Reviews and Ratings
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and true to the pictures shown on the website. The hotel is in downtown Kyoto, making it perfect for sightseeing with charming restaurants and stores nearby. The dining experience was good, but there could have been more variety in the menu. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent for exploring the city.
The Ryokan exceeded my expectations, offering rooms that could rival those in top hotels in major cities, though at a higher price point. The service was sweet, efficient, and welcoming throughout my 3-night stay. The location was convenient for exploring the Gion district on foot and enjoying a tranquil ambiance. However, the dining experience, while good, lacked some personalization and had too much fish for my taste.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while cozy and equipped with some delicious Kyoto treats, were somewhat claustrophobic due to the lack of windows but had a charming outdoor garden space. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff arranging the futon bedding and offering helpful assistance. The location was superb, close to various attractions and dining options. However, the dining experience fell short with an unexpected breakfast choice that didn't meet my expectations.
